Cherokee County Commissioners will recognize the groups and individuals that have been active in 2017 anti-litter efforts in Cherokee County at their meeting on February 5, 2018, at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held in the Cherokee County Courthouse, 75 Peachtree Street, Murphy, NC.
We are encouraging every anti-litter group and individual to attend this meeting to demonstrate that there are those who care about the image and economy of Cherokee County. “Strength in numbers will make a difference, it’s your choice.”
The North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition will be providing a list of names to be recognized to the commissioners on February 5, 2018. If you are part of the effort to reduce litter in Cherokee County, please contact us so we may add your name to the list of those being honored.
Following the meeting, please join us at the Valley River Brewery, 71 Tennessee St., Murphy, NC, so that we can get to know each other on a personal basis.
The Valley River Brewery has been a big supporter of our efforts by providing anti-litter literature.
